Oiled sea otters after Exxon Valdez oil spill

March 24th marks the 25 year anniversary of the Exxon Valdez oil spill (It also marks the 2nd anniversary of the launch of seaotters.com).

If you’re on Twitter, please join NOAA’s Office of Response and Restoration (@noaacleancoasts) on Monday, March 24 from 12-1pm Pacific Time for a very special tweetchat.  NOAA biologist Gary Shigenaka, who has been examining the environmental impacts of oil spills since the EVOS in 1989, will be taking your questions about what’s happened to Alaskan wildlife (including sea otters) and habitat since the spill. We hope you’ll join us!

When: Monday, March 24 from 12-1pm Pacific Time
How: Tweet your questions to @noaacleancoasts using hashtag #ExxonValdez25.
