Today We’re Thrilled to Announce the Launch of seaotters.com/live

WildforOtters

Today we’re thrilled to announce the launch of seaotters.com/live, the world’s first HD live video stream of California sea otters in the wild. Today also marks the 37-year anniversary for the southern sea otter’s official listing as a threatened species under the Endangered Species Act, so it’s a very special day indeed.

We’d first like to thank our friends at Animal Planet L!VE for partnering with us on this groundbreaking effort. Our heartfelt thanks also goes out to each and every one of our Wild for Otters Kickstarter backers. Thank you so much for supporting this special project. We couldn’t have done it without you! To our friends at Monterey Bay Aquarium and Georgia Aquarium, as well as to all of our fans on Facebook and Twitter, thank you so much for your amazing support and helping us get the word out about our Kickstarter project which went a long way in making this a reality. And finally we have to give a big seaotters.com shout-out to our friends at the Sea Harvest restaurant in Moss Landing, CA. This wouldn’t have been possible without your support and partnership.

Raising awareness for sea otter conservation is something we’re pretty passionate about.  Seaotters.com/live will help fulfill that mission by giving kids, parents, classrooms and otter lovers of all ages around the world an awesome front-row seat to watch and learn more about this threatened species in their natural habitat.  It’s been years in the making so we hope you’re as excited about it as we are.

Please share this wonderful news with your friends and family, and join us in celebrating California’s most iconic and endearing species and a very special place they call home.
